Dear Tessa,
Thank you for being my best friend. You're always there when I need you and sometimes it feels like you know me better than I know myself. You always know the right things to say to make me feel like less of an idiot, lol. You're always pushing me to be a better person and to try my hardest, whether it be at school, at home or with my friends. You're always telling me to go outside my comfort zone, and try new things, whether I want to or not, and you remind me everyday that people only live one life and that they have to live it to the fullest.
You put up with me when I'm upset, even when you don't understand why. You laugh at my jokes when nobody else gets them. You keep me from letting my spirits get too high, and you keep me from letting them get too low. You keep me grounded. You listen to me when it feels everyone has turned a deaf ear. Sometimes you feel more like my sister to me than my own sister. Thank you for always being there for me, thank you for always believing in me, and thank you for always reminding me to be thankful for everything I have, including you. You're grape to my jelly, the peanut to my butta, whoop whoop! It's T&E we be sistas foreva!
Love,
Erin

Letter - Dear Santa
Dear Santa,
Christmas is coming soon and I know you're probably really busy but please just hear me out for a second, I have something really important to say. Now I know that I haven't been the nicest kid this year (I have taken a few extra cookies from the cookie jar...) but I'm pretty sure that I haven't done anything bad enough to get me an the naughty list. I mean, there was that one time... And then that other one... THAT'S NOT THE POINT!
Look I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get so off topic like that, but what I really wanted to say is, I don't want my Christmas gift this year. Can you give it to my mom instead? I know this is probably a big deal because you don't normally give gifts to adults but I'd rather she had it than me. She's always getting me things, and Christmas is the only time of year where everyone is supposed to get something, and every year we forget her gift. I always feel so bad but she says she never minds. She says that we're, my sister and I, her gift and that as long as she had us she'll never need anything else.
But needing isn't the problem, it's WANTING something that I bet really bothers her. So, because I can't get her what she wants, I'm asking you to. It doesn't have to be anything big, it can be something as simple as a robe to hold her on cold nights because I can't. It can be a foot bath, or some nice candles or maybe something as simple as a little bit of luck so the next time she buys a lotto ticket she might actually win. I know this might sound stupid but it's just that my mom does a lot for me and doesn't asks for anything in return.
Thanks for hearing me out Santa.
Sincerely,
Erin
